As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Wendy is dedicated to helping clients pursue their financial goals and putting them and their needs at the center of every engagement. She takes great care and trust in developing meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Wendy is co-founder of Homstad & King Wealth Partners of Raymond James and has more than 25 years of financial industry experience. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2011, she spent many years in financial management at RBC Capital Markets. She began her career at Piper Jaffray Inc. in 1997.

Charity is an important foundation in Wendy’s life. By giving back, we have the power to positively impact the lives of individuals, families, and even entire communities. Wendy supports various charities and is involved with the Duluth Lions Club and serves on the audit committee of the Girl Scouts Lakes & Pines.

Wendy is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She also attended Concordia University-St. Paul, earning a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and communications.

A native of northern Wisconsin, Wendy and her husband, Brian, reside in Duluth, Minnesota, with their two children. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
