Kelli Lanino, AAMS®, CRPC®, CDFA® Financial Advisor, RJFS Branch Manager

Kelli Lanino, Financial Advisor and Branch Manager for RJFS since 2017, started her investment industry career in 1999 at Merrill Lynch in Princeton, N.J., as a Portfolio Assistant for the Asset Management Division. She continued her career at Merrill Lynch in the Southampton N.Y. branch office, when she and her family moved to Hampton Bays. There she worked for a team as a Registered Client Associate. Kelli joined Raymond James in June 2011 working as the Operations Manager for MFB Wealth Strategies. When the MFB advisors left the industry, Kelli took advantage of all of her licenses and experience and stepped into her current role.

Prior to working in the financial industry, Kelli worked for the Treasurer at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching based in Princeton, New Jersey, where she was responsible for tracking the foundation's portfolio. This piqued her interest in the financial industry, and after the foundation moved to California, Kelli steered her career path in the investment industry direction.

Kelli believes that her clients come first in all aspects of advising them of their financial and investment options. Her primary focus is financial planning, asset allocation and retirement planning. She starts by assessing each clients’ unique goals and objectives before determining the correct portfolio that fits those goals, making changes along the way as needs change.

Providing assistance to women in transition, such as divorce or loss of a spouse, is a part of her practice that she finds most rewarding. Being able to help someone when they are at a low point in their lives, when they feel lost and alone and often cannot find the right person who has their back, gives her the best feeling knowing that she could be the person they can count on.

She holds her Series 7, 51, 66 and 24 securities licenses, her New York State licenses for life and health insurance, and her Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designations. Kelli attended the Investment Consultant Group Certification Series, Level I and II workshops at RJ Institute of Investment Management Consulting to obtain her Investment Management Consultant title. Kelli has been a member of the Raymond James Executive Council for the past two years.*

Kelli is currently on the board of the Twin Forks Professional Women’s Circle as Vice President.

Kelli enjoys going to the ocean, reading books and taking bicycle rides. She recently joined a women’s bowling league and has started to enjoy golfing.

Kelli was raised in Maspeth, New York, and currently resides in Hampton Bays with her husband Jim. Her son Philip and daughter Alyssa live close by and they have blessed them with three wonderful grandchildren.
