John Findling is the Registered Principal and Branch Manager of our branch of Raymond James Financial Services.

John received his BS from Central Michigan University in 1971 and majored in Finance and Economics. As a Central Michigan Alumnus, John has spent several years on the Development Board for CMU’s college of Business and has spent each year since graduation in the investment industry first in Real Estate before transitioning to Financial Planning.

The majority of John’s early career was spent with E.F. Hutton, where he was an annuity specialist, and then later progressed into a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager. In late 2000, John envisioned working and owning an independent financial services practice that would provide both corporate and individual investors investment alternatives without many of the conflicts of interest inherent with traditional banks, brokerage firms and insurance companies. This vision became a reality when John opened the Livonia branch of Raymond James Financial Services in September 2001. He offers securities through Raymond James Financial Services. Tax and Estate planning, Retirement Planning, Second Income Planning, Educational Planning, and Asset Allocation Planning are the main focuses of John’s business.

On a personal level, John spent 10 years coaching a select soccer team in Livonia, Michigan known as the Meteors and since hanging up the whistle he now enjoys playing tennis, biking, leisure golf and traveling with his wife Barbara.
