Robert Kikin (Bob) was born on April 19, 1948 and passed away on July 24, 2023.
He graduated from City College of New York with a degree in Electrical Engineering and then pursued his MBA in business at Baruch College in New York City.
After many years as a Metals Trader at Philipp Brothers, he became a financial planner and advisor, winding up his career at Raymond James.
He was not simply an advisor to his clients but counted many of them among his good friends.
He was a devoted husband, father of 3 and grandfather of 14. He enjoyed travelling all over the world, especially visiting and hiking in our scenic national parks. He was also a huge Yankee fan and no stranger to the stadium.
Bob was very much involved in his local community, the temple and always ready and willing to help young people in the community. He was involved for many years as a board member and mentor in his children’s schools and in communal institutions and houses of worship. His insights and valuable support of these causes made him loved and respected throughout the community, albeit he did them not for the recognition, but simply out of his desire to help people, which was also reflected throughout his career as a financial advisor.
Bob has forever left a great impression on people he has met throughout his life and his career and he will forever be missed.
