Jeff has built long-term relationships with his clients, assisting them with their goals of securing sound financial futures for themselves and their families. He is a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP), an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS). Jeff holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as life, health and variable annuity insurance licenses in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Joining Raymond James in May 2012, Jeff felt the firm's culture of independence and award-winning resources made it the perfect complement for his own skills and approach to investing.

Previously, Jeff served as account vice president, investments at UBS Financial Services, and as a financial advisor at Piper Jaffray & Co. Earlier in his career, Jeff served as administrator, medical staff services and administrator, staff services for St. Mary's/Duluth Clinic (SMDC), and supervisor of industrial relations for Reserve Mining Company in Silver Bay, Minnesota. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

He earned a Masters in Business Administrator (MBA) from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he also earned his bachelor's degree in industrial relations with minors in accounting and economics.

Jeff believes we have an opportunity and an obligation to use our talents not only to provide for our own families, but to advance a better future for our communities. He has been active with community services such as youth activities, school financial literacy and scholarships.

He founded the Carol B. Maida Scholarship in association with the Asbury United Methodist Church Scholarship. He has also served Junior Achievement, Duluth Workforce Council, Northland Human Resource Association, Medical Group Management Association - Human Resources Society and Leadership Duluth.

Jeff is a native of Duluth, where he and his wife, Debbie, live and have raised their sons, Joshua, Jacob and Joseph.
