Kimiko joined Raymond James in January 2016 from Merrill Lynch. She is native Japanese, born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She began her career as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) in New York in 1998. From the very beginning of her career, she has focused on international estate planning services.

Prior to assuming her financial advisor position, she was a financial analyst at MTB (U.S.). She received her B.A. degree from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, majoring in Economics and Business Administration. Before moving on to her career in finance, she worked for Sony Corporation in Tokyo at Corporate Planning Group that makes critical business decisions for the company.

Kimiko is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional. She is also a qualified Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing her own personalized or defined strategies, which may incorporate individual stocks and bonds, options, and third-party investment strategies.

Kimiko lives with her partner and three children in Palos Verdes Estates, California. Her son Matthew was diagnosed with autism at age 2. She is active in supporting non-profit groups such as Dream Catcher of Los Angeles, who provides therapeutic horseback riding to special needs children and adults.
