As co-founder and partner of what is now Meridiem Advisory Group, Trip leads a team specializing in retirement plan consulting, specifically 401(k) plans, for companies and large institutions. He maintains several key professional designations that help him assist his clients with their specific and complex needs. He earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional designation from the American College of Financial Services. He was awarded the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary by Fi360, a leading organization dedicated to best practices for fiduciaries. He is a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, a member of the National Association of Plan Advisors, and a member of the Raymond James Retirement Plan & Institutional Advisory Council.*

Trip and his dedicated staff work with retirement plan sponsors to develop, implement, and review customized qualified solutions with the ultimate goal of preparing the plan participants for future financial independence. His extensive experience overseeing the operations of retirement plans and knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and risk are resourceful for plan sponsors and other institutional clients. Trip has also provided professional wealth management and goals-based planning to high-net-worth families, individuals, and business owners for over 33 years while working daily to maintain his clients' trust in him. He prides himself on thorough communication, transparency, and loyalty.

Trip has lived in Montgomery, Alabama, for more than 50 years. After leaving briefly to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University, he returned home to Montgomery, where he and his wife, Karen, raised their two children, Stone and Leeanne. He has kept ties to his alma mater through active participation in the Montgomery Auburn Club and has served as the club's past president. And a former Eagle Scout at heart, he has given back to the community in various capacities within the Tukabatchee Area Boy Scout Council. In his free time, Trip enjoys travel, boating, snow skiing, college football, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family and friends.
