Mary Jo was recently named to the Forbes list of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors. In addition, she was named to been named to the 2021 edition of the Forbes list of America’s Top Women Advisors. The list recognizes the top women financial advisors across the United States. This year’s Top Women Wealth Advisors list spotlights advisors across the country who were nominated by their firms – and then researched, interviewed, and assigned a ranking within their respective states.

Mary Jo founded METRO Financial Strategies, Inc. in 2010 where she is President, Branch Manager, and Principal Financial Advisor. She chose to associate with Raymond James as an independent advisor. Prior to 2010 she was with Edward Jones where she was a partner. She spent 16 years in corporate America with increasing responsibilities within finance and accounting. Mary Jo is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Accounting and received her MBA in finance from Boston University. Mary Jo continues to serve her clients by remaining abreast of macro and micro environments and furthers her knowledge with professional development.

A native of Pennsylvania, Mary Jo resides in Chelmsford, MA. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Dan, for 35 years and they have three children; Rachel, Jocelyn, Sebastian and two grandchildren: Rosalie and Barrett. She is a member of Chelmsford Business Association, Financial Planning Association, and a Budget Buddies Coach/Advocate.

Away from the office, Mary Jo also enjoys spending time with her family at the lake and traveling the world.
