Stephen’s finance career spans nearly 15 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, Stephen spent five years as a commercial banker with Iberia Bank in Birmingham, providing custom banking solutions to local businesses and business owners.
Stephen has earned the Private Wealth Advisor1 designation from Raymond James. This designation reflects his experience in managing the financial concerns of families, individuals and organizations of significant wealth, and his mastery of methods and resources necessary to support their expansive financial interests.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Stephen has voluntarily taken extra steps to provide the highest possible standard of service to all his clients. He offers a holistic, client-focused approach to financial planning, ensuring that each plan is tailored to meet specific needs. He works closely with clients to develop customized financial strategies that incorporate financial management, retirement planning, asset allocation, college planning, estate and succession planning, debt management, and insurance solutions. Stephen is driven by the opportunity to help those he serves work toward financial confidence by helping them achieve both their short- and long-term goals.
Stephen attended the University of Alabama, where he graduated magna cum laude, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, with a minor in economics and a specialization in Commercial Real Estate.
Active in his community, Stephen volunteers his time as a youth coach for baseball and football. He is also involved in several nonprofit organizations, currently serving as a board member for Knock Knock Children’s Museum and Baton Rouge Area Kids Fore Golf Foundation. Stephen and his wife, Casey, are active parishioners of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where he also serves on the finance committee.
Stephen resides in Baton Rouge with his wife, Casey and their children - Luke, Jack and Molly. In his free time, you will often find him playing golf or enjoying the outdoors with his wife, children and their dog, Foster.
