Michael’s career as a financial advisor began in 2014, starting at Merrill Lynch and then continuing his work at Raymond James in 2019. Michael assists clients in identifying and prioritizing their financial goals and then developing personalized strategies to fit their circumstances. Currently, Michael’s areas of focus are in retirement planning, portfolio management, maximizing retirement income, tax minimization strategies, and generational wealth transfer. He is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist, a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, as well as a Certified Exit Planning Advisor.

Michael is a native of New Orleans, where he attended Jesuit High School. He earned a bachelor’s in International Affairs from American University in Washington, D.C. and a master’s degree in Political Economy from Fordham University in New York. His professional experiences include working on Capitol Hill for the Congressional Ways & Means Committee in the Subcommittee on Revenue; the U.S. Office of Government Ethics developing international ethics policy; and the U.S. National Science Foundation furthering science media and education.

Michael and his wife, Mary, live in the Bucktown area with their golden retriever, Julep. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, skiing, and scuba diving.
