Chris was born and raised in Selma, AL. and returned to his hometown after college to begin a career. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance), and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University in 2003. Chris began his career with A.G. Edwards in 2004 as a sales associate; and now he is a registered financial advisor with Raymond James. Although the corporate game has changed over time, Chris has been with The Boyd Financial Group in the Selma, AL office for 17 years. Chris enjoys working closely with our clients to help them build financial plans to meet their individual goals and investment needs. His favorite part is building the long-term relationships with the people that have trusted us to help them achieve their goals.

Chris lives in Selma with his wife Ashley, and their son, Riley. He enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is a founding member and current president of the Dallas County Auburn Club, and serves on the committee for the local chapters of NWTF and Delta Waterfowl. His hobbies include: exercise, scuba, snow skiing, wildlife conservation, hunting, fishing, and attending Auburn football games.
