Chris works closely with our clients to help them build financial plans to pursue their individual goals and meet their investment needs. Clients appreciate his honesty and caring demeanor, and he enjoys building long-term relationships with them.
Chris has been part of The Boyd Financial Group in Selma, Alabama, for nearly 20 years, beginning at A.G. Edwards in 2004, then Wachovia Securities, Wells Fargo Advisors, and since 2015, at Raymond James.
He has an MBA and bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Having an MBA provides Chris with several distinct attributes, including strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, tactical decision-making, research and risk management skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Chris was born and raised in Selma, Alabama, where he lives today with his wife, Ashley, and their son, Riley. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving, snow skiing, wildlife conservation, saltwater fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is president of the Dallas County Auburn Club and serves on the committee for the local chapters of the National Wild Turkey Foundation and Delta Waterfowl.
