Penn Cook has been advising individuals, families, and business clients for over 30 years. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1980, shortly after he earned his MBA and BS in Finance from Auburn University.
After 26 years of affiliations with large brokerage firms, which included E.F. Hutton (1980-1988), J.C. Bradford & Co. (1988-1992) and Morgan Stanley (1992-2004), Penn decided to change his business model. In 2004, he and his business partner Trip Phillips opened an independent practice using the Raymond James platform for Independent Brokers.
In additon to being an Investment Advisor Representative and having his General Securities Representative license , Penn is licensed in Health and Life Insurance, and has completed Long Term Care courses. He continually strives to stay abreast of the changing marketplace, and financial products and services through elective and mandatory continuing education.
