Sam Chambers
Sam Chambers, AIF® Senior Financial Advisor, RJFS Partner, Meridiem Advisory Group

In addition to being co-founder and partner of what is now known as Meridiem Advisory Group, Sam serves as head of our investment strategy committee and leads our institutional consulting group in serving insurance companies, nonprofits and corporations in Alabama and beyond. He works closely with their investment committees and boards of directors to assist in investment policy development and review, investment management, asset allocation, risk management, and manager selection. He guides them through due diligence procedures and performance reporting while providing education on governance and fiduciary issues to ensure these clients remain compliant with current regulatory guidelines. Sam is dedicated to putting his clients’ interests first and conducting himself with candor, honesty, and transparency in every action he takes.

Sam’s long and distinguished career began in 1993 with Morgan Keegan, a Southeastern regional firm which was subsequently acquired by Raymond James in 2012. Over the course of nearly two decades, he held several key roles including financial advisor, producing branch manager, and senior vice president of investments until he eventually joined forces with a former colleague in 2015 to launch an independent practice of their own utilizing their access to extensive Raymond James resources. Throughout the years, Sam has remained as passionate about providing thoughtful strategies to satisfy his clients’ diverse needs as he was when he first entered the financial industry.

Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Sam earned a bachelor’s degree in language arts from Huntingdon College before settling in Montgomery, Alabama where he and his wife, Susan, raised their three children. Once their nest was empty, Sam and Susan relocated to Fairhope, Alabama for him to oversee the Meridiem branches in Fairhope and Pensacola, Florida. In his free time, he enjoys living an active lifestyle along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, fly fishing every chance he gets, and photographing the wonders of nature.

Investing involves risk and you may incur a profit or loss regardless of strategy selected, including diversification and asset allocation.
