Using his extensive education and experience in legal, tax, estate planning, debt and liability management, insurance, retirement, and investment issues, Mark helps each client seek their financial goals.
He developed his holistic approach to financial planning during his stint as Senior Investment Management Specialist at Smith Barney from 2000 to 2009, as well as his time as Senior Investment Management Consultant at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney from 2009 to 2013. Prior to these experiences, Mark operated his own law firm for 16 years.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brigham Young University in 1980 and, subsequently, his Juris Doctorate from the Brigham Young University Law School in 1983. He also received a Diploma of Law in Taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and also one of the few Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professionals in the state of Utah.
Mark is a member of the Utah State Bar Association and is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoys reading, running, the outdoors and spending time with his wife, Debbie, and their children and grandchildren.
