Steve began his career as a financial advisor with Principal Securities in 1993 after working for three years with General Electric Medical Systems. In 2000, Navigators Financial was founded, moving his office to Royal Oak at the same time. “For more than 25 years, this industry has allowed me to help my clients achieve their visions while also assisting me to become a better father, husband and person.” he said. 

“My practice focuses on using a consultative approach to assist independent women and families with financial and retirement planning.” Steve said. “Our process, Navigating Your Financial Life, helps our clients envision and pursue a life of significance with less financial stress.”

Steve majored in both Marketing and Management, graduating Cum Laude with a BSBA degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, in 1989. He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in 2017.

Steve takes time to volunteer at Shrine Catholic High School and is a parishioner of the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica. He is also a member and former board member of the Detroit Yacht Club, member and former board member of the Greater Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce, and member of both the Financial Planning Association and Financial Services Institute.

Originally from Westland, Michigan, Steve and his family are long-time residents of Royal Oak. He enjoys golf, travel, tennis, and spending time with his family as well as skiing, sailing, playing guitar, and reading.
