David A. Estabrook,

CFP®, CEP®, CKA® Registered Principal, Branch Manager Investment Management Consultant

David has worked in the financial services industry for over twenty years. His primary focus is wealth management, retirement and investment planning. When people ask David why he became a financial planner, the answer is all about loving what you do. “Working with individuals and families to help reach their retirement and financial goals is something I absolutely love,” says the Denver native. “I know my efforts can impact my clients for the rest of their lives, and benefit their children as well.”

David enjoys working side-by-side with clients, listening to their needs, and building an individualized plan to help them reach their goals. In addition to investment and retirement planning, David’s services also include risk management, insurance needs and analysis, college planning and funding, and estate and legacy planning.

David graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a double major in mechanical and civil engineering while playing NCAA Division II basketball. After graduation, David worked for Anderson Consulting (now Accenture), one of the largest business and technical consulting firms in the world. His experiences there have augmented his transition into finance and enhanced his ability to help his clients with a well-rounded approach to investments. In 2007 David opened a new branch office in south Denver with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.

David is an Investment Adviser Representative and holds multiple security licenses that include Series 6, 7, 9, 10 and 66, as well as life, health and long-term care insurance licenses. David is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, a Certified Estate Planner™, Certified Kingdom Advisor®, and Branch Manager.

David has earned the Raymond James Executive Council Award* for the past eight consecutive years. David has been quoted in several Denver Post articles for his expertise in financial planning. In 2015 David was selected to become a member of the Institute of Investment Management Consulting (IIMC)** at Raymond James. He successfully completed the curriculum and passed the exam to earn this designation, which emphasizes investment management consulting, asset allocation and portfolio construction. David is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute.

David grew up in Colorado and as a young man achieved the award of Eagle Scout. He enjoys the beautiful outdoors of his native state, where you’ll find him fishing with his family or playing golf. When it comes to faith and family, you’ll find David fully committed to both. He and Jennifer, his wife of 22 years, live in Highlands Ranch with their son Benjamin and daughter Abigail. They are active in their church, where David considers it a privilege to have served in a variety of roles, including Ruling Elder and Section Leader.
