Dave Cole, CFP® Branch Manager Financial Advisor

After almost 15 years of working as a financial advisor at Palisade Financial, Dave purchased the practice and serves as our branch manager. Dave, along with the rest of the team, provides comprehensive strategies designed to help clients pursue their long-term goals. He enjoys working with individuals, families, and businesses to help achieve financial well-being and independence. He genuinely cares about each client. By using his well-honed ability for listening and offering encouragement, he strives to have as much positive impact on their personal lives as he does on their financial lives. Dave works with clients across the country, focused on positioning clients for financial success before and during retirement.

Dave has always been attracted to the world of finance and investments, making his first investment as a third grader, when he took his farm paycheck and invested it in an agricultural company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Montana State University; Series 7, 66, 9 and 10 licenses; life, health and long-term care insurance licenses; and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP™) practitioner.

Active in the community, Dave has participated in organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Family Promise, Thrive, Gallatin Valley Empire Lions Club Youth Football and the Emerson Center for Arts & Culture. He currently serves as a board member for Respire Haiti - a school and medical clinic based in Gressier, Haiti. He lives in Bozeman with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children. In his free time, he enjoys running, golfing, basketball, coaching, and anything outdoors.
