A principled professional and an attentive listener, Jake works to instill in his clients a sense of security regarding their finances. He knows wealth planning and investment management can feel like a foreign language, and he simplifies seemingly complex issues to help his clients feel confident in their financial lives. Jake holds a double major bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting, along with a minor in economics, from Eastern Washington University. He began his financial career the same year he graduated college – in 2010 – as a certified public accountant at Clifton Larson Allen, where he worked for four years. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2014 as a wealth management advisor and transitioned to Raymond James in 2022. He credits his new firm for offering a robust investment platform and sophisticated planning tools designed to help each of his clients pursue financial success. Along with his hands-on experience, Jake is a Certified Financial Planner professional, a designation that demonstrates his professionalism and commitment to practicing with higher ethical standards.

Originally from a small farming community in Washington, Jake resides in Spokane with his wife, Allie, and their son, Luke. His favorite pastimes include anything outdoors, from camping, boating and hiking to mountain biking, hunting and golfing.
