James specializes in helping clients develop a comprehensive, cohesive financial strategy that fits their unique needs and enables them to meet both short and long-term objectives. He takes the time to get to know his clients and determine the proper scope of services they require to design an appropriate, customized strategy. James then consistently monitors the implemented strategy to identify potential adjustments and enhancements to ensure it continues to work toward the client's stated goals.

James received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. James is also a Certified Financial Planner® professional. James began his career in 1991 at Edward Jones. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2013, James was with Morgan Keegan in Chattanooga.

Originally from Tacoma, Washington, James is a resident of Soddy Daisy. He and Kellye have two sons - Hunter and Fisher. James enjoys bicycling, spending time with family, and watching SEC football.
