Previous positions held:

Phil began his career as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch where he was employed for five years. He then went to Banc of America Investments for nine years as a Financial Advisor and Market Manager in New Mexico. Phil left Banc of America Investments in August 2007 and started his own investment practice, Prevender Financial Services, LLC.

Education:

Phil attended the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico, majoring in Finance. He completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 2003.

Community Groups:

Phil is very active in the community and currently serves as the Board President of the Central New Mexico Community College Foundation (CNM Foundation) and as a member of the Ronald McDonald House Finance and Investment Committee.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
