Theodore L. White III

Ted is dedicated to helping clients confidently pursue their financial aspirations by developing personalized investment plans based on their long-term goals and risk tolerance. Patient and empathetic, he has worked with pre-retirees, retirees and the elderly for 25 years, helping them to be confident with their financial plans and investment portfolios through all market cycles.

To create each client’s investment plan, Ted listens carefully to their needs, wants and wishes, thoughtfully addressing any questions or concerns that arise along the way. He also uses his decades of experience to help distill complex financial jargon into understandable advice.

Ted’s decision to join the financial services field was first inspired by his father, who was in the business for 35 years. Ted worked for him in operations and saw firsthand how his father’s work helped improve countless lives while resulting in a rewarding career. A former advisor of Wells Fargo Advisors, Ted proudly joined Raymond James in 2019.

Ted served in the past as president of the Leesburg Rotary Club, is recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow, and is a former board member of the Deaf & Hearing Services of Lake and Sumter Counties.

Ted was born and raised in Leesburg, Florida. He lived outside the area for a period of time before returning in 1990 to Leesburg, where he and his wife, Carol, made their home, raised their family and started a business. They have two children, Carly and Brian, and three grandchildren, Morgan, Mason and Rowdy. Away from the office, Ted stays active by mountain biking, snow skiing, rock climbing, sailing, kayaking and fishing.
