After more than 30 years of serving clients, Richard remains passionate about providing clients with personalized financial advice, and meets with each one regularly to perform a portfolio review, discuss the markets, talk about expectations and share knowledge. Corporate executives, affluent individuals and small institutional clients count on Richard to help them identify, understand, evaluate and work toward their goals. When appropriate, he also will coordinate client meetings with tax professionals, lawyers and estate planning advisors to help ensure that financial plans and portfolios take into account each client’s complete financial picture.
Before joining Raymond James in 2014, Richard spent more than three decades honing his investment management skills. He began his career at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he gained hands-on experience while studying economics at St. Francis College. Richard also spent 17 years at Oppenheimer as a senior vice president of Private Client Services, as well as a managed money consultant, prior to moving to Bear Stearns, the predecessor firm to J.P. Morgan Securities. He is a former Certified Investment Management AnalystSM (CIMA®).
Richard actively supports the American Cancer Society, as well as the American Ireland Fund, which is dedicated to charitable causes that provide services for young and old alike. An avid golfer and sports fan, Richard lives in New Jersey with his wife, Tina.
