Mark Battista began his career in the financial services industry in 1987 after earning his Bachelor's Degree from Kent State University and briefly working in Washington D.C. bidding and negotiating l.T. contracts for government entities such as the Department of Defense, U.S. Treasury, the Library of Congress and NASA.
He obtained his series 7 license in 1987 just prior to "Black Monday" on October 19th of the same year. The events of that day provided a lasting impression and many lessons regarding investor behavior, market dynamics and preservation of capital. Mark later obtained his series 63, series 65 and series 3 licenses. In 2008 he earned the Wealth Management Specialist Designation (WMS) . Mark is also a licensed provider of variable, fixed and indexed annuities as well as life, health and long-term care insurance.
