Mike Morrison,
CEPA® Vice President of Development Financial Advisor, RJFSI'm a financial advisor- my calling is to Coach On and Off the Ice Why I got into the business:
I’ve always been a coach at heart. Before financial planning, I coached athletes—helping them grow, gain confidence, and make decisions that moved them toward their goals. That same passion guides the way I help individuals and families make confident, meaningful decisions about their wealth.
My MBA and disciplined, strategic mindset led me into purposeful planning, but coaching taught me to lead with patience, clarity, and empathy. Clients value the time I take to understand their wants, needs, and priorities before making any recommendations.
Why prospects choose to work with me:
Known for proactive communication and meticulous preparation, I believe great planning starts with knowing the person behind the numbers.
Earning my CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) designation expanded my ability to support entrepreneurs and business owners as they navigate growth, transitions, and exits. Whether working with a family or a founder, my approach remains the same: be honest, be prepared, and be present.
Why clients stay with me:
I care about my clients’ lives—not just their portfolios. Meaningful planning happens when you truly know the whole person. Clients stay with me because I walk with them through life’s changes with steady guidance rooted in faith, discipline, and genuine interest.
What sets me apart:
Outside the office, life revolves around my wife Amy and our kids, Ryder and Avi.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me coaching women’s hockey and volunteering with Liberty University, serving with the Salvation Army, or sneaking in a competitive game of pickleball.
These passions keep me grounded and focused on what matters most: people, purpose, and community.
