Ethan Anderson Headshot
Ethan Anderson, AIF® Financial Advisor

Ethan sees financial planning as working on a puzzle with pieces that are continually evolving. This challenge, along with the fulfillment of helping clients pursue success on their terms, keeps him fully dedicated to his role as an advisor.

With an emphasis on transparency and integrity, Ethan works closely with clients to help them plan for retirement and manage their nest eggs. To do this, he creates highly personalized portfolios centered on his clients’ distinct goals. “Our clients know we’re in this together,” he says. “That’s why we prioritize proactive communication.” This includes informative client meetings along with weekly emails and regular updates on the markets and economy.

Ethan’s guiding mission is to keep clients informed, empowered and feeling confident in their financial lives. “When clients have a clear understanding of how the financial plans we build are designed to align with their portfolios and their needs, they’re able to focus on the many other blessings in their lives,” he says.

An advisor since 2000, Ethan started his career with Prudential Securities before joining Rehmann in 2005. He stayed there until 2019, when he made the move to Raymond James. In addition to his 20-plus years of industry experience, Ethan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and is actively involved with his alma mater.

Since 2000, Ethan has served as a board member as well as former president, vice president and treasurer of the University of Michigan Club of Grand Rapids. He also became a board member of the Metro Health Foundation, which is affiliated with University of Michigan Health, in 2019. Additionally, he’s served as a corporate partner committee member of the Grand Rapids Art Museum since 2018 and as an elder of Cascade Christian Church since 2019.

Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Ethan makes his home with his wife (and high school sweetheart), Stacy, and their two kids, KD and Lilly. When he’s not helping clients, Ethan can be found traveling or enjoying anything related to the University of Michigan.
