As a personal financial consultant, David truly values each of his clients as he guides them through life’s financial journey. His single mission is to provide a high level of wealth management for every phase of his clients’ lives. With experience in money management, asset allocation, and risk management for business and individual investors, he has built his career on the idea that every client is unique as he helps them reach their financial goals.

David understands that true financial advising is a long-term endeavor requiring meaningful, enduring client relationships. In that regard, his services and recommendations are made solely in the interest of providing clients with benefits they value and with the intention of sustaining a lifelong relationship.

Before joining Raymond James in 2009, David spent a significant part of his career with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney and has more than 23 years of industry experience. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, he was a branch manager and commercial lender with C&S Bank in Columbia and Charleston. He earned his Wealth Management Specialist designation with a focus on the processes and principles specific to managing clients’ wealth. David graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, David is a member of the German Friendly Society, the Hibernian Society of Charleston, the Charleston Chamber of Commerce and St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, boating, running and getting involved with his local soccer club. However, his favorite hobby is simply spending time with his five children, Adam, Lucas, Thomas, Walter and Catie.
