Mickey is the founder and principal of Silverman Partners of Raymond James. He is a former senior partner and board member of JB Hanauer & Co., where he practiced for over 25 years. He began his storied career in their New Jersey trading department, prior to relocating to Palm Beach and opening the firm’s Florida offices.

Mickey joined Raymond James two decades ago, realizing that many of his clients required a broader range of services, including assistance with estate and tax issues. He formed Silverman Partners, assembling a dedicated team of professionals, who encompass a wealth of knowledge across a broad spectrum of investment and related specializations, to aid clients in simplify their financial lives and balance their assets, to better achieve short-term and long-term goals.

As an investment professional with over 45 years’ experience, he has applied his expertise in bonds, global equities, alternative investments, and long-term financial planning to aid clients in determining the appropriate combination of strategies to preserve and enhance their wealth.

Mickey earned his degree in Business Administration from George Washington University, and later completed the Securities Industry Institute program at the Wharton School of Business. Mickey believes strongly in participating in community-related activities. He regularly volunteers his time and energy to various charities, most significantly ARMDI and the March of Dimes. ARMDI is an organization which supplies ambulances to the Red Cross effort in Israel. The March of Dimes focuses its efforts towards ending birth defects in infants. Mickey is the previous President of the Board of Directors for the South Florida March of Dimes chapter and Founder of their annual charity ball, the Glitz.
