Sometimes wandering happens close to home, and surprises can be just around the corner. It is hard to say that you are really “Lost” when a day drive finds you reacquainting with areas in your own vicinity. However, the surprise of finding a new addition to a long untouched view can be fun and provide renewed interest.

Have you ever spotted a new billboard along a well-traveled route? An invitation to explore a new business or attraction awaits. Or perhaps there is a freshly painted barn that sports a graphic that you can relate to?

Dee and her husband Rick provided that very update to their newly restored barn on their 100 year old farm. Neighbors stopped to show approval and travelers along the road pulled over to take a snapshot or two. The real stamp of approval came when Purdue University came to call.
