Barry was born and raised in Decatur, AL, and graduated from Decatur High School in 1983. He then went on to attend University of Alabama at Huntsville and graduated from Faulkner University in 1993. He married the love of his life, Kim, in 1988, and they had beautiful children together – Brandon and Abbi. They also have a dog named Gidget who is definitely a part of the family.

During his career, Barry was the VP of First Federal/Union Planters Bank and VP of First American Bank before becoming a financial advisor. He began his advising career with Merrill Lynch in 1998, moved to Morgan Keegan in 2000 and has worked with Raymond James Financial Services since 2002.

During his off time, Barry loves being outdoors. A few of his favorite activities are camping, canoeing, hiking and mountain biking. He enjoys every moment he gets to spend with his family as well.
