Brent has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years, analyzing the needs and objectives of his clients to build customized financial strategies for both individual and institutional clients.
As a client account manager, financial advisor, and retirement professional for the team, he helps clients discover an investment strategy that balances their need for preservation while taking into account their true appetite for risk. He discovered early in his career while speaking with employees about 401(k) plans and individual retirement assets that most everyone – no matter how much they know about investing – could use help with this very important piece of their life.
Brent holds two designations: Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®. After working as a teller and financial service rep during college, Brent got his start in the industry as vice president of retirement and institutional trust services for the Bank of Oklahoma. From there, he became a retirement plan specialist at Arvest Wealth Management, followed by a senior portfolio manager and corporate retirement director with The Suchy Team of Morgan Stanley. He joined Raymond James along with the team in September 2017.
Brent earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State, where he is an alum of Sigma Phi Epsilon. An avid sports fan, he cheers on his alma mater and the Jenks Trojans and enjoys coaching youth football, basketball, soccer and baseball. He also likes spending time with his wife, Jenny, and taking their four children on hunting trips and summer vacations.
