Roger began his financial advisory career with A.G. Edwards and later Wells Fargo Advisors, serving clients in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. He brings a diverse academic background to his practice, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Louisiana State University, a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Northeast Louisiana University, a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies, and a Doctorate in Philosophy in New Testament and Greek from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Originally from Livingston, Louisiana, Roger resides in Albany with his wife, Shirley Gill Sullivan. He is the father of Dr. Leslie Elkins, Ashley Hawthorne, and Joy Sullivan (deceased).
