Brian has over 24 years in the financial industry, beginning his career as an independent bond trader at the Chicago Board of Trade in 1996. He became a financial advisor in 2001 and co-founded The LAT Group while at Merrill Lynch in 2012.
He attended the University of Central Florida to study business administration, but his formal education was interrupted to play professional baseball. As a starting pitcher for UCF, he was drafted in the fifth round by the Kansas City Royals baseball organization, where he went on to achieve great success playing his last two seasons in AAA Omaha. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation through The American College and the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation through the College for Financial Planning. He also holds his Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Natives of the south suburbs of Homewood-Flossmoor, Brian and his wife, Kim, are the proud parents of five kids: Michael (24), Amanda (21), Sadie (15) and twins Charlotte and Alice (12). Outside of the office, Brian’s free time is spent with his family, but he tries to make time for golfing, practicing yoga and attending sporting events.
