Steven, originally from Southfield, Michigan, graduated from the University of Detroit in 1990. While at the University of Detroit, Steven earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a member of the Division 1 baseball team, where he was elected captain his senior year. After graduation, he went to work in lending before joining the financial services industry in 1995. Steven began working for his clients while in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Michigan in 1996. He and his wife Tracey are the proud parents of Tyler and Amanda.

In 2008, Steven and Tracey founded Wolverine Asset Management of Raymond James & Associates and work together to bring their clients the best that Raymond James has to offer. Wolverine Asset Management offers financial and retirement planning services for individuals and small business owners.

Steven is registered in Michigan, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, New York, California, Washington, and Texas. He holds Series 7, 31, 63 and 66 licenses and has the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation (AIF^®).
