Joseph P. Bynum III (Joe) grew up on his family farm in Blount County, Alabama. He graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. He and his wife, Brenda, have been married since 1974. Brenda has served the Talladega County community as a Family Nurse Practitioner for nearly 40 years. Joe and Brenda have been blessed with three beautiful daughters. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren and working on the family farm.

Joe and Brenda currently attend Church of the Highlands in Oxford, but his Methodist upbringing has instilled in him a passion for being “the hands and feet” of God. He has donated his time and energy to many organizations during the course of his career and served on various local boards including but not limited to:

• Big Brothers/Big Sisters
• United Cerebral Palsy of East Central Alabama
• Empty Stocking
• Community Enabler and Developer
• Kiwanis Club of Anniston

Joe is a Financial Planner, an Investment Adviser Representative, and a Registered Principal with over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. He is the Branch Manager at Wealth and Retirement Services, Inc. and holds his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, in addition to his life and annuity license.
