• Jon Wieland, CFP®

    Financial Advisor

Jon uses his nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry to play an instrumental role in helping clients pursue their financial aspirations. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he takes the time to understand the big financial picture and explain complex financial topics in a straightforward way.

“Wealth is a state of mind, not just a number,” Jon says. “By clarifying financial goals and creating detailed plans to get there, clients are able to pursue their vision of what true wealth is.” He developed this highly personalized approach to financial planning over many years. Before Jon became affiliated with Raymond James and created Wieland Wealth Management in February 2019, he spent 19 years as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. He earned his MBA from Chapman University in California.

Jon married his high school sweetheart, Meg, after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1993. He lives in Black Forest, Colorado, and enjoys hunting, fishing and classic muscle cars. He’s also had a lifelong passion for bluegrass music, and created and led the award-winning WMD Bluegrass Band with his three sons, Jackson, Wyatt and Luke. The family band played hundreds of shows, from small churches to large festivals and national contests. It provided a unique way to serve the community and bring people together. Jon also has volunteered with Colorado Springs Sertoma and served as president of the organization.
