JP specializes in addressing the sophisticated wealth planning needs of individuals and families, professional athletes, particularly NHL hockey players, as well as small business owners.

JP has a wealth of financial experience that he diligently applies to addressing the complexities that often accompany the management and preservation of significant wealth. He is dedicated to his career and with his relatively young age, plans to be there for his clients for decades to come.

In addition to building and managing personalized financial plans, JP applies his technical finance background with investments, macroeconomic research, and financial modeling, to construct and manage sophisticated investment portfolios.

Before joining Raymond James, JP was a financial analyst who reported to senior management at LPL Financial in San Diego. Earlier in his career, he was a research analyst and investment committee member at Algonquin Advisors in Greenwich, Connecticut, where he identified and analyzed investment opportunities in the private equity, hedge fund and mutual fund spaces.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in philosophy from Manhattanville College, where he made the Dean’s List each year and graduated cum laude. He earned the Manhattanville College Finance Award, awarded to the top three finance majors. He also found the time to lace up as a member of the school’s NCAA men’s ice hockey team.

Energetic and hardworking, JP always makes himself available to field his clients’ questions or address any needs or concerns. He is adept at explaining even the most complex financial concepts in a jargon-free manner that is easy to understand.

As a recent cancer survivor, JP was proud to participate in the 2015 Wall Street Decathlon and be part of a four-man team that raised thousands of dollars for cancer research.

Originally from Fairport, New York, JP lives in Carlsbad, California, with his wife, Anna. In his free time, he enjoys ice hockey, surfing, golf, water activities and snow skiing.
