Jim joined our team in 2021 in the role of senior investment/portfolio analyst. He serves as a member of the Intellus Advisors Investment Committee and primarily helps with risk management, portfolio construction, trading, and performance monitoring. Jim enjoys creating and implementing investment frameworks that attempt to recognize and capture value while managing risk. He believes that everyone needs a thoughtful and well-designed investment plan that allows them to stay invested and focused on their long term goals, especially when the markets become turbulent.

Jim holds the Certified Financial Planner_™ designation. This means that he meets rigorous educational, training, and ethical standards and uses this knowledge for the benefit of our clients. The CFP® certification is recognized as the standard of excellence for financial planners.

Jim is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in business management. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration degree at Florida Gulf Coast University. Jim began his career in the financial services industry in 2013 after working as a systems engineer for a local technology consulting firm.

Jim and his wife Anna are residents of Naples and have a daughter named Winnie. Jim is a member of Center Point Community church where he volunteers as an usher. Away from work he spends the majority of his time trying to keep up with Anna and Winnie but when he is not doing that, he enjoys both road and mountain biking, fly fishing, and occasionally building wooden boats.
