As a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, Karen has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, one of the most respected financial planning credentials among consumers and the recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.

She also holds the professional designations of Certified Private Wealth Advisor® and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor. Her industry knowledge includes financial planning, tax planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance.

Karen earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, with a double major in economics and political science. She is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and ODE Economics Society.

After graduating from college, Karen returned to her hometown of Naples to work for a private financial services firm before moving to Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc,. in 2000. She joined Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., in 2006, which became part of Raymond James in 2013.

Karen makes her home in Naples. In her free time, she enjoys running, playing tennis, traveling and reading. She is a member of Center Point Community Church, on the board of directors for Community Pregnancy Clinics, Inc., and a corporate council member at the Guadalupe Center, a charitable organization serving impoverished children and families in Immokalee, Florida.
