As a senior vice president of Investments and managing director of Hemenway Wealth Management, I enjoy working in an independent environment that enables me to always do my best for my clients, and I take pride in my integrity and hard-working nature. My relationship with the firm offers access to a full complement of investment alternatives, as well as support from respected industry professionals at the firm's international headquarters, ongoing educational opportunities, and cutting-edge technology designed to help me service my corporate and individual clients effectively and efficiently. By offering a wide range of investment and financial planning services, I am committed to helping individuals, corporations and families pursue their financial goals and objectives.

I have been involved in the financial services industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining Raymond James, I proudly served in the Army Reserves for eight years, concluding service in the 415th Civil Affairs Battalion located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I also served clients as a vice president for Prudential Securities and NatCity Investments. Specializing in economic analysis, estate planning, stocks, and bonds, 401(k) plan design and implementation, retirement plan rollovers, tax advantaged investments, and retirement planning, I work with clients to develop comprehensive plans customized for each person's individual needs.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in economics from Albion College and pursued my graduate studies in finance at Western Michigan University. I am also a graduate of the Seidman School of Business in Financial Planning at Grand Valley State University and hold series 7, 63, 65 and insurance licenses, as well as the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, Certified Estate Planner™, and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designations. The Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation represents a thorough knowledge of and ability to apply fiduciary practices. I have also earned the designation of Investment Management Consultant through the Raymond James Consulting Services Institute.*

I have been a member of the Raymond James Chairman’s Council since 2011.**

I currently reside in Portage and enjoy spending time with my wife, Debra, and my two children, Austin (26) who is a graduate of Northwestern University with a doctorate in physical therapy and Alexia (20) who is a sophomore at Western Michigan University. I take pride in community involvement as I have coached Portage rocket football and taught investment classes for Kalamazoo Adult Education for more than 18 years. I am also involved in continuously supporting Galesburg-Augusta community schools and giving back to them in multiple ways. In my spare time I enjoy riding in Bike MS events in Florida for Team Raymond James and in Michigan to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research.
