Lawrence D. Anderson,

WMS Senior Vice President, Investments

Larry’s father used to listen to commodity price updates on the radio each morning, which prompted him to study all the financial markets early in his life. Now, with more than four decades of investment experience, and all but four of those years with Raymond James, Larry is part of the investment committee that selects our clients’ positions and monitors their portfolios. His goal is to help them develop a personal wealth management strategy to reach their own goals in alignment with their risk tolerance.

Genuinely caring for his clients and their families, Larry works with three generations. Although other firms have attempted to woo him away from Raymond James, he continues to steadfastly believe that the firm is the best in the industry – and the best place for his clients.

Larry joined Raymond James in 1999 when the firm merged with Roney & Co. – he had been with Roney & Co. since 1977, becoming a partner in 1997. Prior to Roney & Co., Larry worked with Merrill Lynch for four years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Cincinnati, minoring in education and economics.

As a wealth management specialist, Larry fully understands the wealth management process, including specifics regarding investment strategies and taxation, as well as retirement and estate planning considerations that come with substantial wealth.

Originally from a small farm in Ohio, Larry lives in Elkhart, Indiana, with his wife, Bonnie. They have seven children, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, bicycling, reading and bird watching.
