Brad joined Long Financial Services in 2001, bringing ten years of experience as a business and financial analyst with Lockheed Martin Corporation and Shell Oil Company. Brad earned his masters of business administration, Cum Laude, from the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business in 1995 and his bachelor of science, Cum Laude, from Virginia Tech University’s Pamplin College of Business in 1991. Brad received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2006.

Since joining Long Financial Services, Brad and Mike have worked closely together, assisting clients in defining their financial goals and developing strategies to achieve them. Brad and Mike concentrate on helping their clients through transition periods such as retirement and estate planning. Brad also specializes in retirement distribution planning and qualified retirement plans. He is trained in income tax planning, long term care solutions and estate planning. Brad brings an encompassing and comprehensive approach to planning the retiree’s financial affairs.

In addition to his formal education, Brad is a General Securities Principal, General Securities Representative (Licenses 24, 7, 63, 65), and is an Investment Advisor Representative. Brad is also a licensed agent in Life, Health, Disability and Long Term Care insurances.

Brad and his wife, JoAnne, and their three children live in the Annapolis, MD area and are actively involved in the community through several civic, charitable and community athletic organizations.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
