“Whether clients are nearing retirement or have been contacted by an energy company, we listen, look for opportunities and help clients get things done,” says Mark.
With more than three decades of financial industry experience, Mark’s career began in 1987 at Merrill Lynch after earning a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Kent State University. He served as senior resident director of the Zanesville office from 2008 to 2021.
In 2022, Mark moved The Moyer Group to Raymond James, attracted by the firm’s focus on advisors and how they can best serve their clients. “It enables us to offer access to the robust resources and sophisticated products of an international investment services firm, while never compromising our ability to focus on what’s most important: putting our clients’ interests first.
In addition to providing thoughtful service to his clients, Mark has actively supported community institutions throughout his career. He has served the Genesis HealthCare System as a trustee and board chair.
Mark has always made Zanesville his home and today enjoys life in Buckeye Lake with his wife, Kim. They have two children and three grandchildren. Their son, Ryan, is a partner at Moyer Group Wealth Management and their daughter, Ashley, is the owner of Ashley Moyer Interior Design.
