Karen Schneider, RICP^®, AAMS^®, is the Retirement Income Certified Professional at One Financial Group. She also serves as Co-Branch Manager and is a lead advisor on One Financial’s Investment Policy Committee.

Karen brings over 40 years of experience to the team and considers herself a lifelong student of the financial industry. In Spring 2021, Karen officially welcomed Amy O’Neill as her business partner and Co-Branch Manager.

Karen’s specialties are retirement income planning, business succession planning and various life transitions such as business exit strategies, caring for parents, blending families, experiencing divorce or death of a loved one. She feels great personal reward when she collaborates with clients in shaping their own financial future. Karen strives to give clients the encouragement to work towards their dreams and the financial confidence to live them on their own terms. She has an empathetic ear, having navigated many transitions herself and is eager to share her expertise.

After many years of living single, Karen found her husband, Dan, and they make their home in O’Fallon. She jumped into Dan’s ready-made family of 4 grown daughters and 8 grandchildren. In their free-time, Karen and Dan especially enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling throughout the U.S., and spending time with their empty-nester friends.

Karen is involved with Athena Leadership Foundation of St Charles County. She is also a member of the O’Fallon VFW Post 5077, St Charles Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce.
