The need for a financial advisor to understand their clients’ wealth is a given. To understand their dreams, goals and ideals as to better align their finances with their lives, however, is a differentiator, one that defines Andrew’s practice.
Andrew puts a great emphasis on building long-term, enduring relationships with his clients. As he knows their families, many of his clients have come to know his. He believes that by knowing what keeps them up at night, their values, and even their likes and dislikes, he is better able to craft financial strategies tailored specifically to them. Acting in a fiduciary capacity, his advisory clients’ best interests are always at the center of his approach. His goal is to help his clients pursue their goals while having confidence in their finances and financial decisions.
As a team member of The SunCoast Advisory Group of Raymond James, Andrew works hand-in-hand with other firm professionals as the complexity of clients’ circumstances demand. Many of his clients are affluent retirees and those about to enter retirement. He also works with young, high-earning professionals who are eager to turn their incomes into a solid financial foundation for their futures.
Andrew has spent much of his career assisting individuals with their wealth. Prior to joining SunCoast Advisory Group of Raymond James in 2021, his practice was affiliated with BB&T/Truist since 2016, where he was the primary relationship manager for wealthy clients throughout the Tampa Bay area. He also worked with affluent clients as a private banker for Wells Fargo, where he was a team member for 10 years.
Though a St. Louis native, Andrew has adopted Florida as his home. He is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a professional designation earned through a rigorous program with ethical and continuing education requirements.
Outside the office, Andrew is a dedicated Florida Gator, and a Tampa Bay Lightning super fan, attending as many games as possible in a season. He also enjoys taking advantage of Florida’s natural splendors, and spends a lot of time on the water.
He is married to Ashley Walther, and the couple have two daughters, Olivia, born in 2021 and Madelyn, born in 2023.
