Eric Williams Bio Image

Eric A. Williams,

CFP®, ChFC®, CLU® Vice President, Wealth Management Financial Advisor

A rigorous attention to detail and a strong work ethic are the foundation of Eric’s practice. He prides himself on not making recommendations to his clients until he is confident that his advice is in their best interest and is complementary to their goals. In short, he puts in the extra hours.

Eric’s approach is consultative – not driven by sales – with a goal of building strong, lasting partnerships with his clients so they can use their wealth to pursue their objectives. His advice is always customized to his clients’ needs and informed by in-depth fact finding and an examination that takes into account several areas of financial planning.

He was attracted to this field because his success is tied to the success of his clients, his reputation and the value of sweat equity. He has been recognized with several industry accolades, including as a Forbes Best in State Next-Gen Wealth Advisor in 20191 and as a Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor in 2017 and 20182.

He has clients throughout the country and particularly along Florida’s west coast.

Eric is a graduate of Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification, as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant® and Chartered Life Underwriter® designations.

He is originally from Philadelphia and remains a Philadelphia sports fan. When he isn’t cheering on his teams, he enjoys exercising, boating, and spending time with his girlfriend, Allie, and TJ, his German shepherd.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

1SHOOK Research considered advisors born in 1980 or later with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Advisors have built their own practices and lead their teams; joined teams and are viewed as future leadership; or a combination of both. Ranking algorithm is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service models, investing process, client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, etc.; and quantitative criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criteria because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC. Neither SHOOK nor Forbes receives compensation from the advisors or their firms in exchange for placement on a ranking. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor’s future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of an individual client’s experience. Out of 6,389 advisors considered, 1,489 made the final list in 2019. For more information, see SHOOKresearch.com.
