Marsha Werner, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP^®) is passionate about making a difference for her clients. With over 35 years of experience in the Wealth Management arena she leverages her proficiency to find solutions where others would not have known to look. Her past senior management experience shapes her viewpoint as an advisor and a leader with an understanding of how the business is created, run, and supervised. The “before the portfolio” approach takes hours of discussing people’ needs, wishes, and goals before ever talking about their portfolios. The goal is to learn “what keeps you up at night” then craft a financial plan to help solve those concerns.

Marsha adheres to the CFP Board’s code of ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence. She has in-depth knowledge of financial planning, employee benefits and retirement planning, estate planning, investment management, tax strategies and insurance planning.

Before joining Raymond James, Marsha was a private banker at JP Morgan and a senior vice president at Smith Barney, where she held divisional, regional and branch management positions. She has Series 7, 8, 65 and 63 securities and insurance licenses, and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois.

Past senior management experience has shaped Marsha’s viewpoint not only as an advisor, but also as a leader. She has extensive wealth management experience in fixed income and capital markets, family governance and dynamics, liability management, wealth preservation, and legacy/estate planning.

A lifelong Illinois resident, Marsha recently purchased a home in Tampa Florida. Like

many snowbirds, she and her husband Gregg will keep a home in Illinois, staying connected to family, friends, and clients. Marsha & Gregg have two adult children: Leland, who is also an advisor and her partner at Turning Point Wealth Management; and Trent, a restaurant owner in the Chicagoland area. Marsha is an active member at Wynstone Country Club in North Barrington and member/actress in the Barrington Second Set Play Readers Group.
