Business Background and Experience

In January 1980 I joined the Mason City, Iowa office of Piper Jaffray and managed the branch from 1987 through 1998. Relocation to Colorado Springs occurred in January 1999 and I remained with Piper Jaffray until July 2006. The change to Raymond James and Associates occurred in July 2006 and in December 2012 I transferred to Vero Beach, Florida branch. Professional achievements include Piper Jaffray’s VIP Council (1992), Presidents Council (1996), James Snow Community Service Award (1997), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA 1999), Raymond James Senior Vice – President Investments (2006), and Raymond James Leaders Club (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012,2013,2014,2015,2016).

Education

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Drake University, Des Moines, IA. 1978.

Major – Human Resources.

Community Service

Community service resume includes, Mason City Chamber of Commerce Board and President, Cerro Gordo County Habitat for Humanity Board and Chair, North Iowa Medical Center Finance Committee, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Finance Board, North Iowa Girl Scout Board and Chair, Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation Board President, Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity Finance Committee, Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity ReStore Committee Chairman.

Family Background

Growing up in Minnesota has given me a solid (frozen) foundation for life. I went south to Iowa for higher education and to start my business career. My wife, Cathy, and I married in 1977 and have no children. We are enjoying our move further south to Florida.
