Jim has been in the investment business for 34 years, starting his career in 1988 with Shearson Lehman before moving to AG Edwards in January 1991, where he became branch manager and senior vice president. In 2008, he moved to Stifel Nicolaus as senior vice president and branch manager.

In his previous career, Jim played major league baseball for 15 years. He is a native Visalian and came back home after hanging his cleats up to start his new career and be closer to family.

Jim was former president of the COS Foundation, Breakfast Rotary and the Downtown Rotary Club. He raised nearly $450,000 in his lifetime for the COS Athletic Foundation as lead organizer of 18 annual celebrity golf tournaments.

In his free time, Jim loves to golf, travel and spend time at Pismo Beach with his wife of 50 years, Rae Wohlford. His son, Jason, recently joined the team to help support and serve our growing number of clients.
