John R. Reuter, WMS, AIF® Senior Vice President, Investments Managing Director

As a financial advisor for more than 30 years, John serves as a relationship manager to individual and corporate clients, including foundations, endowments and corporate retirement plans. Together with the vast resources of Raymond James, John focuses on estate and retirement planning strategies to help his clients manage assets and preserve wealth as they plan for their financial future. John believes in offering independent and objective advice for a complete financial plan that focuses on each client's unique goals, while selecting specific investments to help meet portfolio objectives. For corporate relationships he acts in a consulting capacity to help provide Investment Policy Statement, asset allocation and investment strategy assistance and guidance.

John attended Wabash College where he studied economics with a concentration in business. He holds security licenses including the Series 65, life, health, and long-term care and is Indiana Partnership certified. He has received numerous internal and external certifications in wealth management, portfolio management and retirement plan consulting. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA)* and the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. John is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and a member of fi360. While at Raymond James, he has served on various Raymond James councils such as Technology Advisory Council, Marketing Advisory Council and is an initial and current member of the Raymond James Retirement Plan Advisory Council (RPAC).

John is also an active member of his community, serving in various capacities on his church council and parent faculty association as well as coaching youth sports for many years. He has served on the board as fundraising chairman as well as past treasurer, president and chairman of the board of Sertoma. John has also given presentations and seminars to businesses, publicly traded companies, pension and employee benefit committees and hospital boards.

John and his wife have five children and are lifelong residents of Indianapolis. He continues to be involved with several organizations and supports the Little Red Door Cancer Agency and the Indianapolis Symphony.
