Roshan is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and has been working in the financial services industry since 1999. He focuses on assisting first generation entrepreneurs as they work to pursue their financial wants and needs. Acting as a trusted resource, Roshan aims to make a positive impact in the lives of each client he serves.

By voluntarily completing the CFP Board’s rigorous certification process, Roshan has taken an extra step to demonstrate his professionalism. As a CFP® professional, he has committed to meeting the board’s continuing education requirements and practicing with higher ethical standards.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2015, Roshan served as a financial advisor with HD Vest Inc. for 16 years. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in commerce from Kanpur University and an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Roshan holds his Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses and is a Certified Public Accountant.* He has also been an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service since 1997. He is a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, the Texas Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He incorporates his thirty years of tax experience into comprehensive financial planning including tax advantage investments.

Outside of the office, Roshan serves his community as a board member for Transformance, which helps financially distressed families, and as a board chairperson for the Consumer Credit Counseling Service, following two years as a board member. Roshan has also served as a board member with the Aga Khan Council for Northern Texas, as a founding board secretary for the North Texas Business Alliance and as second vice president of the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents.

In his free time, Roshan enjoys tennis – both table tennis and on the courts – reading, traveling and music.
